The Ellenbrook Loopline has been improved and extended to create a high quality, traffic-free cycling and walking route connecting Roe Green Loopline near Worsley Leisure Centre to the Leigh Guided Busway at Newearth Road.
The improvements to the 1.4 km route include a three metres wide path, accessible entrances for all users (cyclists, wheelchairs and mobility scooters), a new combined pedestrian and cycle crossing at Hilton Lane, drainage improvements and new signs.
The newly improved Ellenbrook Loopline will provide a safe and pleasant route for all to enjoy!
