Children over 12 or more than 135cm tall must wear a seat belt. You can choose a child car seat based on your child’s height or weight. Bikeability is the government’s national cycle training programme. It helps participants learn practical skills and understand how to cycle on today’s roads. Bikeability gives everyone the confidence to cycle and enjoy this skill for life.
Salford’s Road Safety Team in partnership with Nationwide Cycling Academy deliver a host of government funded Bikeability courses across schools and establishments throughout the city.
