Join the Royal Naval Association along with veterans, service personnel, dignitaries and local residents at MediaCityUK, The Quays, Salford, M50 2NT on Sunday 14 June for the Drumhead Service March. There will be a Parade of Standards and Veterans March on Media City Plaza and a Drumhead Service. A brilliant event and opportunity to come together to celebrate our Armed Forces community together as a city. Salford Armed Forces Flag raising ceremony

Join Salford’s Armed Forces Flag Raising ceremony led by the Lord Lieutenants office and Salford’s Ceremonial Mayor’s office. The event will take place on the front steps of Salford Civic Centre (Swinton Town Hall).
Armed Forces Parade and Winton Festival Family Fun Day
Saturday 27 June 2026 from 10.30am to 4pm
To mark Armed Forces Day and as part of our city’s centenary celebrations, Salford City Council is hosting a community Armed Forces Day parade and family fun day. The Armed Forces Parade will be travelling from Dukes Drive Car Park, off Parrin Lane, Monton, Eccles concluding at Winton Park, Dover Street, Eccles.
Following the parade, you can enjoy lots of family fun in the park and a host of exciting activities and entertainment including children’s ride attractions, face painting, climbing wall and WI refreshments. Entertainment on stage from 11.00am children’s entertainers Louby Lou the clown, Magic Philip magician, Dominique and the Flat Cap 3 singers.
No booking is required for these events, simply turn up on the day.
