These drop in sessions aren’t happening during lockdown but we now offer cloud coffee and chat where you can talk face to a face to an advisor via a video call. You can also try our BetterOff website or the Spirit of Salford helpline.
Are you struggling with money? Need help with rent or council tax? Don't know where to turn? Why not come along to one of our BetterOff coffee and chat sessions. Drop into your local Gateway centre or library on the dates below.
We might not be able to solve all your money problems but this is a starting point for you to get the help you need. Support is available on a wide range of issues from benefits, debt, financial assistance, housing to health and wellbeing.
Whether you have questions about Universal Credit, where to turn in a financial emergency, how to make your money go further, stop smoking or get online, we can help.
There are currently no dates due to the coronavirus situation.
We aim to have someone from every organisation listed above attend each session. Although we are unable to guarantee this, a wide range of help and support will always be available.
For benefit and council tax enquiries you can drop in to see one of our advisors at any of our Gateway Centres or Broughton Hub:
You can get face to face help and advice on council and partner services including:
