Report fraud

Make a good call

Salford City Council is committed to making sure that the opportunity for fraud and corruption is reduced to the lowest possible risk.

An important part of this is the anti-fraud, bribery and corruption strategy and policy (see documents below). They will be used to advise and guide members of the council and staff on the council's approach to the serious issues of fraud, bribery and corruption.

The council expects all members, employees, consultants, contractors, and service users, to be fair and honest, and to provide any help, information and support necessary to deal with fraud and corruption.

How to report or raise any concerns

If you are reporting a concern please give as much detail as you can. It is helpful if you provide your name and contact details in order that information may be clarified to assist in any investigation.

The matter will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. The council’s whistleblowing policy (see documents below) sets out how the council will protect people reporting concerns.
