Land at Lower Broughton playing fields

Local Government Act 1972 Section 123(2A)

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council intends to dispose of open space land known as Lower Broughton playing fields for a 25 year lease to the tenant Salford Schools Football Association to use the playing fields for activities associated with the objectives of Salford Schools Football Association.

The open space land is more particularly shown edged red on the deposited plan, which may be inspected  at the Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays and also on Salford City Council’s website on this page.

Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and sent to Rachel Ball, Graduate Surveyor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5AS or to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk so as to be received no later than 13 June 2024 Please quote reference L/AF/SCC002/04264
