The Customer Service Officers at the ground floor reception can give help and advice on the following services:

• Council tax
• Benefits
• Library service
• Blue badges
• Free school meals
• Salford customer account
• Salford Assist
• Household Support Fund
• School admissions
• Alley gate keys
• Radar keys

The Customer Service Officers can also assist customers with the following:

• Booking community rooms - email BetterOffInEccles@salford.gov.uk
• Digital assistance
• General building and service enquiries
• Referring complex housing benefit and council tax enquires to a Senior Advisor 

During the hours of 8am to 9am and after 5.30pm when library staff are not present our Customer Service Officers can help with:

• Printing 
• Photocopying
• Accessing computers
• Library self-service machines
