The Starting Life Well information service has details of Ofsted registered childcare and out of school care schemes.
Out of school clubs provide safe care before and after school, and often during school holidays. They are usually based on school premises or in youth or community centres and are led by trained play workers.
An out-of-school club is ideal if you cannot collect your child from school at the end of each day and want a safe place for them to enjoy a range of activities with children of a similar age.
There are different types out of school clubs: breakfast clubs, after school clubs, before and after school clubs. Find out what's available in your area.
There is also a range of activities available during school holidays.
Salford Music and Performing Arts Service (MAPAS) supports schools in music and performing arts education.
This includes group activities at arts centres for young people and adults of all abilities such as music, dance and drama. Find about more about the services that MAPAS offers.
Young people couldn't be more important to Salford. Salford Youth Service work with young people, to help them discover an active role in their communities and support them as they get ready for adulthood.
