Cemetery opening times

Main cemetery gates

The vehicular and pedestrian gates at all four cemeteries are opened each week-day from:

• 8am to 8pm, between April and September
• 8am to 5pm, between October and March

At weekends and bank holidays the gates are opened by 9am, and will also close by each day at 5pm.

If you encounter any problems with access outside of normal office hours, please contact the city council's emergency service on 0161 794 8888.

Cemetery offices

Agecroft Cemetery

• Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm
• Wednesday from 9.30am to 4.30pm

Please note the office is not open at weekends or on public holidays.

Peel Green Cemetery 

This cemetery office has closed. For assistance please contact the main office at Agecroft Cemetery on 0161 686 7290.
