Salford City Council has partnered with Co-wheels, a community interest company (CIC), to offer cheap car hire.
As Co-wheels is a CIC, they reinvest profits into the car club. This gives you the opportunity to use a car only when needed, without the cost of owning, maintaining and running your own vehicle.
Cars can be booked online or through a smart phone and then accessed and used as required. Fuel cards are provided in the cars and you simply get in and drive.
