Reception aged children

Do you have a reception age child in your setting?

If you do, did you know that you have a legal duty to complete an Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) for each child? 

Salford’s data team will send an email to your setting in the summer term for you to complete with each reception child’s EYFSP scores and return securely to them so that they can submit these scores to the Department for Education (DFE). This means that the child's Key person will need to assess each reception child against all 17 Early Learning Goals (ELGs) that form the EYFSP.
