Agecroft Road Area, Salford – Proposed Waiting Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The proposed order will seek to introduce ‘No waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on:

  • Agecroft Road - both sides from a point 80m west from the projected western kerbline of Virginia Drive in a north easterly direction to a point 60m north east of the projected eastern kerbline of Virginia Drive.
  • Virginia Drive - east side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Agecroft Road in a south easterly direction to its junction with the northern kerbline of Hewes Close. West side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Agecroft Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 37m.
  • Wheatsheaf Close - from a point 20m north east of the eastern kerbline of Virginia Drive in a north easterly, south easterly and south westerly direction for a distance of 38m.

The proposed order will seek to introduce 20mph Speed Limit Zone on:

  • Virginia Drive, Augustine Drive, Hewer Close and Wheatsheaf Close.

A copy of the proposed Order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays.
