Salford City Council (Algernon Street Area, Eccles) (Residents Parking) Order 2016 (Amendment) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to amend the order, Salford City Council (Algernon Street Area, Eccles) (Residents Parking) Order 2016, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to include:

Residents Parking Places

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm on the following roads:

Crawford Street

  • North west side from its junction with Algernon Street to its junction with Stanier Avenue
  • South east side from its junction with Algernon Street to its junction with Stanier Avenue

Properties eligible to apply for parking permits

Road Eligible properties
Crawford Street Properties numbered 53 to 65 (odd numbers)
Crawford Street Property numbered 38
Stanier Avenue Properties numbered 2 to 6 (even numbers)

Eligibility for Parking Permits

Residents and businesses at all properties listed in the schedule to this notice who meet the qualifying criteria will be eligible to apply for a residents parking permit at a cost of £50 per annum. Residents at all properties listed in the schedule to this notice who meet the qualifying criteria will also be eligible to apply for a visitor’s parking permit. carer’s parking permit - residents that require essential care and support on a regular basis may be eligible to apply for a carer’s parking permit. Please contact the city council for further information. Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
