Arlington Street/Barnett Drive

Prohibition of waiting order 2016

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:

Arlington Street

  • North east side from its junction with Cannon Street for a distance of 109 metres in a south easterly direction.
  • South west side from its junction with Cannon Street for a distance of 17 metres in a south easterly direction.
  • South west side from a point 38 metres south east of its junction with Cannon Street for a distance of nine metres in a south easterly direction.
  • South west side from a point 60 metres south east of its junction with Cannon Street for a distance of eight metres in a south easterly direction.
  • West side from a point 81 metres south east of its junction with Cannon Street for a distance of 25 metres in a south easterly direction.

Barnett Drive

  • North west side, from its junction with Arlington Street for a distance of 13 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • North west side from a point 62 metres north east of its junction with Arlington Street for a distance of 17 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • South east side from its junction with Arlington Street for the full length of the road.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
