Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
City of Salford (Ash Drive, Swinton) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading/Unloading) Order 2024
The effect of the Order is as follows:
No loading or unloading Monday to Friday 8.30am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm:
Ash Drive
- South east Side, from a point 10 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Heys Avenue to a point 30 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Thornmere Close
- North west Side, from a point 22 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue to a point 10 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue
- North west Side, from a point 10 metres north east of the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue for a distance of 28 metres in a north easterly direction.
Mardale Avenue
- Both sides, from the western extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a north westerly direction.
Heys Avenue
- Both Sides, from eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a south easterly direction.
Thornmere Close
- Both sides, from its junction with eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive in an easterly direction for a distance of 4 metres.
No waiting at any time:
Ash Drive
- South east side, from a point 10 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Heys Avenue to a point 30 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Thornmere Close
- North west side, from a point 22 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue to a point 10 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue.
Mardale Avenue
- Both sides, from the western extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a north westerly direction.
Heys Avenue
- Both sides, from eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a south easterly direction.
Thornmere Close
- Both sides, from its junction with eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive in an easterly direction for a distance of 4 metres.

- North west Side, from a point 10 metres north east of the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue for a distance of 28 metres in a north easterly direction.
Existing Orders are to be amended so as to the proposals.
