The No Waiting At Any Time will ensure safe access and egress in to and out of the access to the new development off Astley Road. It is necessary to introduce these restrictions to deter vehicles from parking along the road compromising access, visibility and obstructing the footpath. It will maintain the flow of pedestrians and vehicular traffic in the streets effected by the development and also protect the turning head, so it can be used for which it was intended, for vehicles to turn round in.
The proposals internally will prevent parking in Marabel Close in the vicinity of the junction with Astley Road again compromising access and visibility. They will also prevent parking on the bend and on the footway round the bend forcing pedestrians in to the road and finally will protect the turning head, so it can be used for which it was intended, for vehicles to turn round in and be able to exit in a forward gear.
