Prohibition and restriction of waiting order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed order is to introduce:

No waiting Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm on:

  • Aviary Road - north side from a point ten metres east of its junction with the projected rear of the footway on Crossfield Drive for a distance of 45.5 metres in a easterly direction. South side from a point ten metres east of its junction with the projected rear of the footway on The Warke for a distance of 35 metres in a easterly direction.

No waiting at any time on:

  • Crossfield Drive - both sides from its junction with the projected rear of the footway of Aviary Road for a distance of ten metres in a northerly direction.
  • The Warke - both sides from its junction with the projected rear of the footway of Aviary Road for a distance of ten metres in a southerly direction.
  • Aviary Road - south side from a point ten metres west of the westerly rear of the footway of The Warke, to a point ten metres east of the easterly rear of the footway of The Warke. North side from a point ten meters west of the westerly rear of the footway of Crossfield Drive, to a point ten metres east of the easterly rear of the footway of Crossfield Drive.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
