Browncross Street/Quay Street

Proposed one way and revocation of prohibition of driving 

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to:

  • Introduce a one way street on Browncross Street, from its junction with New Bailey Street in a north easterly direction to the projected south western kerbline of Spaw Street 
  • Re-open by revocation of the Prohibition of Driving Order on Quay Street from Chapel Street for a distance of 1m in a southerly direction. 

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. 

A copy of the proposed orders together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 17 May 2017 (quoting ref L/AFOUT1093/468) to:
