Cavendish Road and Welbeck Road

Salford City Council proposes to make the City of Salford (The Cavendish Road and Welbeck Road Salford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time on: 

Cavendish Road

  • North west side, from a point ten metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of Welbeck Road to a point ten metres north east from the north eastern extended kerbline of Welbeck Road.

Welbeck Road

  • South west side, from its junction with Cavendish Road for its entire length.
  • North east side, from its junction with Cavendish Road for a distance of ten metres in a north westerly direction.
  • North east side, from the extended south eastern kerbline of Welbeck Road for a distance of 14 metres in a south easterly direction.
  • North west side, from the car park entrance for a distance of 21.5 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • South east side, from a point ten metres south west from the extended south western kerbline of Bradford Road for its entire length.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above orders may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.
