Chapel Street

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The effect of the order will be to introduce, on an experimental basis for a period of up to 18 months:  

Limited waiting parking places with 2m width. Ten minutes, no return within one hour on: 

Chapel Street

  • North side from a point 10m south west from the projected south western kerbline of New Kings Yard in a south westerly direction for a distance of 10m. 

The order will come into operation on 1 December 2017. 

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.

The council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the order should be continued in force indefinitely. Within a period of six months from coming into force of the order or if the order is subsequently varied or amended from coming into force of the variation or modification (whichever is the latter) any person may object to the indefinite continuation of the provisions of the order.
