Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order will be to introduce:
No Waiting at Any Time on:
- North east side from a point 11 metres south east of the closed north west end of Cheltenham Street in a south easterly direction to a point 41 metres south east of the south easterly kerbline of Broughton Road
- South west side from a point 1.5 metres north west from the extended southern kerbline of Princess Street in a southerly direction, around the entire turning circle, then on the south westerly side in a south easterly direction for a distance of nine metres
Limited waiting parking places with width 2.2m from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, waiting limited to two hours, no return within two hours on:
- North west side of north west closed end of Cheltenham Street, from a point 7.2 metres north west of the southerly kerbline of Princess Street in a north westerly direction for a distance of 12 metres
- South west side of north west closed end of Cheltenham Street from a point 1.5 metres north west of the southerly kerbline of Princess Street in a north westerly direction for a distance of 18 metres
Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.
A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
