Cheltenham Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the city of Salford (Cheltenham Street, Salford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Limited Waiting Parking Places and Amendment) Order 2017 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

No waiting at any time on:

Cheltenham Street

  • South side from a point 8 metres of the extended western kerbline of Gardner Street for a distance of 50 metres in a north westerly direction.

No waiting Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm on:

Cheltenham Street

  • North side from Frederick Road to a point 31 metres north west from the extended western kerbline of Gardner Street.

Limited waiting parking places with width 2.2 metres. Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Waiting limited to 2 hours. No return within 2 hours on:

Cheltenham Street

  • North side from a point 31 metres north west from the extended western kerbline of Gardner Street for a distance of 25 metres in a north westerly direction.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at
Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Rd, Swinton, M27 5DA, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
