Cheviot Close and Ashfield Close area

Salford City Council proposes to an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No waiting at any time on:

Ashfield Close

  • West side, from its junction with north projected kerbline of Seedley Terrace, for 28.1m in a northerly direction; and
  • East side, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Seedley Terrace, for 5m in a north direction.

Seedley Terrace

  • North side, from the westerly projected kerbline of Ashfield Close, for 10m in a westerly direction; and
  • North side, from the east projected kerbline of Ashfield Close for 10m in an easterly direction.

Cheviot Close

  • West side, from a point 5m north of the north projected kerbline of Seedley Terrace, for a 22.m in a northerly direction.

A copy of the proposed orders, plans of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the orders may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (due to COVID-19 restrictions, please ensure that the Civic Centre is open before attending).
