Chorley Road

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce:

  • Limited waiting parking places, from 9am to 4pm between Monday and Friday. Waiting will be limited to two hours, with no return within two hours on:

Chorley Road, south west side:

  • From a point 15 metres north west of the north westerly kerbline (extended) of Broom Street for a distance of 25 metres in a north westerly direction
  • From a point 15 metres north west of the north western kerbline (extended) of Beech Street for a distance of 35 metres in a north westerly direction 
  • From a point 15 metres north west of the north western kerbline (extended) of Bain Street for a distance of 51 metres in a north westerly direction

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.
A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at 

Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
