Duchy Road and Egmont Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The titles and effect of the Orders will be as follows:

City of Salford (Duchy Road and Egmont Street, Claremont) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023 

No Waiting at Any Time on: 

Duchy Road

• North east side, from 10m north west of the north western extended kerbline of the north western access to Egmont Street, to a point 10m south east of the south eastern extended kerbline; and
• North east side from 10m north west of the north western extended kerb line of the south eastern access to Egmont Street, to a point 10m south east of the south eastern extended kerbline of the south eastern access to Egmont Street.

Egmont Street

• North western access - both sides, from the north eastern extended kerbline of Duchy Road north easterly for 10m
• South eastern access - north west side, from the north eastern extended kerb line of Duchy Road in a north easterly direction for 10m; and
• South eastern access - south east side from the north east extended kerbline of Duchy Road north easterly for 7m

The City of Salford (Duchy Road) (20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023 

The Order shall prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on Egmont Street - from the north-western junction with Duchy Road, for its entire length to the south-eastern junction with Duchy Road.
