East Philip Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (East Philip Street) (Prohibition of Waiting and Limited Waiting Parking Places) Order 2022

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provision:

No waiting at any time on:

Bridgewater Street – east side 5 metres north from north west kerbline of East Philip Street 1.5 metres south from soth east kerbline of East Philip Street

East Philip Street

  1. south east, east and north west side, from its junction with Bridgewater Street north east for its entire length around cul-de-sac 10 metre south west from the cul-de-sac end
  2. north west side, from its junction with Bridgewater Street 5 metres north east

Limited Waiting Parking Place, operative 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday. Waiting limited to 3 hours. No return within 2 hours.

Parts of road authorised to be used as a limited waiting parking place:

All that part of the north west side of East Philip Street which is bounded on the north west side by so much of the carriageway of that highway as extends, from a point 5 metres north east from the extended eastern kerbline of Bridgewater Street to a point 10 metres south west from the cul-de-sac end of East Philip Street with a width of 2 metres

Class of vehicle:

Any

Manner of standing in the limited waiting parking place:

Wholly within the limits of the parking place and parallel to the kerb with the nearside of the vehicle adjacent to the edge of the carriageway. Days and hours of operation of the limited waiting parking place: Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm

Maximum length of stay in the limited waiting parking place:

Maximum stay of 3 hours no return within 2 hours

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
