Fairhills Road

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

No Waiting at Any Time

The effect of the order is to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on:

Fairhills Road

  • North Side, from extended westerly kerbline (projected) of Access Road to the Fire Station, for a distance of 6.5 metres in a westerly direction.
  • North Side, from extended easterly kerbline (projected) of Access Road to the Fire Station, for a distance of 9.5 metres in an easterly direction.
  • North Side, from extended westerly kerbline (projected) of Winskill Road, for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction.
  • North Side, from extended easterly kerbline (projected) of Winskill Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
  • South side, from extended westerly kerbline (projected) of Soapstone Way, for a distance of 23 metres in a westerly direction.
  • South side, from extended easterly kerbline (projected) of Soapstone Way, for a distance of 17.4 metres in an easterly direction.
  • South Side, from extended westerly kerbline (projected) of Access Road to Northbank Industrial Estate, for a distance of 20 metres in westerly direction.
  • South Side, from extended an easterly kerbline (projected) of Access Road to Northbank Industrial Estate, for a distance of 18 metres in an easterly direction.

Winskill Road

  • West Side, from extended northerly kerbline (projected) of Fairhills Road, for a distance of six metres in northerly direction.
  • East Side, from extended northerly kerbline (projected) of Fairhills Road, for a distance of ten metres in northerly direction.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Fridays.
