Fairmount Road area

Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time on:

Fairmount Road

• Both sides from its junction with Worsley Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 44m.
• North west side from its junction with the north eastern kerbline of Merlewood Drive in a north easterly direction for a distance of 5m.
• North west side from its junction with the south western kerbline of Merlewood Drive in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5m.
• North west side from its junction with the north eastern kerbline of Grovehurst in a north easterly direction for a distance of 5m.
• North west side from its junction with the south western kerbline of Grovehurst in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5m.
• North west side from its junction with the south western kerbline of Oakdene in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5m.
• North west side from its junction with the north eastern kerbline of Oakdene in a north easterly direction for a distance of 5m.
• South east side from its junction with the northern kerbline of Bramley Close in a north easterly direction for a distance of 5m.
• South east side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Bramley Close in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5m.
• South east side from its junction with the north eastern kerbline of Hollowgate in a north easterly direction for a distance of 5m.
• South east side from its junction with the south western kerbline of Hollowgate in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5m.

Merlewood Drive

• Both sides from its junction with Fairmount Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 5m.

Grovehurst

• Both sides from its junction with Fairmount Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 5m.

Bramley Close

• Both sides from its junction with Fairmount Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5m.

Oakdene

• Both sides from its junction with Fairmount Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 5m.

Worsley Road

• South side from a point 15m west from the public house access road in a westerly direction to the junction with Fairmount Road.

Proposed No Waiting Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm on:

Fairmount Road

• South east side from a point 50m north east from the projected north eastern kerbline of Merlewood Drive in a north easterly direction for a distance of 12m.

A copy of the proposed orders together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 9am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
