Freya Grove and Woden’s Avenue

Salford City Council proposes to make the City of Salford (Freya Grove and Woden’s Avenue, Langworthy) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Woden’s Avenue

• South west side, from the east projected kerbline of Oldfield Road for 10m in a south east direction.
• South west and north west side, from a point 42.5m south east of the east projected kerbline of Oldfield Road for 32.2m in an east then south direction.
• North west side, from a point 99.7m east and then south of the east projected kerbline of Oldfield Road to its cul de-sac end.
• North east side, from the east projected kerbline of Oldfield Road for 68.2m in an south east then south direction.
• South east side, from a point 111.2m east and then south of the east projected kerbline of Oldfield Road to it’s cul-de-sac end.

Freya Grove

• South east and south west side, from a point 34.6m north of the north east projected kerbline of Woden’s Avenue for 28.5m in a north east then south east direction.
• South east side, from a point 85.4m north east then south east of the north east projected kerbline of Woden’s Avenue to its cul-de-sac end.
• North east side, from 89.3m north east and then south east of the north east projected kerbline of Woden’s Avenue, to its cul-de-sac end.

A copy of the proposed Order together with the plans and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Alternatively write in to the address below or email the council for a copy of the documents placed on deposit.

Objections to the proposal must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or c/o Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor PO Box 532, Town Hall, Manchester, M60 2LA, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 22 December 2022 (quoting reference L/AMSH/OUT1093/1055)
