Gerald Road area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Orders are as follows: 

City of Salford (Gerald Road, Blandford Road and Boyson Drive) (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading Parking Place) Order 2024 

No waiting at any time:

Gerald Road

  • Southwest from a point 37 metres north west of the westerly projected kerbline of Blandford Road for a distance of 26 metres in a north westerly direction,

Blandford Road

  • West from a point 10 metres north of the northern projected kerbline of Boyson Drive to a point 10 metres south of the southerly projected kerbline of Boyson Drive,

Boyson Drive

  • From its junction with Blandford Road for a distance of 23 metres in a westerly direction
  • From a point 10 metres north from the northern extended kerbline of Boyson Drive, to a point 10 metres south from the southern extended kerbline of Boyson Drive.

Goods vehicle loading parking place 24 hours, seven days a week:

Gerald Road

  • Southwest from a point 23 metres north west of the westerly projected kerbline of Blanford Road, for a distance of 14 metres in a north westerly direction, having a width of 2.7 metres throughout.

City of Salford (Boyson Drive) (20 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024 

20 mph speed limit:  

Boyson Drive

  • For its entire length.
