Greengate

Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce the following on Greengate:

No waiting at any time

  • South side - from 63.7 metres north west of Gravel Lane north westerly for 104.9 metres to Caygill Street
  • North east side – from 84.5 metres north west of New Bridge Street north westerly for 28.3 metres
  • North side – from 122.4 metres north west of New Bridge Street north westerly for 16.9 metres
  • North side – from 153.2 metres north west of New Bridge Street north westerly for 9.7 metres 

Limited waiting parking place (6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, waiting limited to one hour, no return within one hour)

  • North side from 139.3 metres north west of New Bridge Street north westerly for 13.9 metres.
  • The existing limited waiting parking place from 104 metres north west of New Bridge Street for 40 metres north westerly will be revoked. 

Loading/unloading parking place for goods vehicles – in effect at all times on all days

  • North side - from 112.8 metres north west of New Bridge Street north westerly for 9.6 metres.

An existing order will be amended accordingly.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 29 July 2019 (quoting ref L/PSH/OUT1093/744).
