Greenwood Street area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

Salford City Council (Greenwood Street Area) (Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2024

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time on:  

Redwood Street 

  • North west side, from Greenwood Street for 40m south westerly 
  • South east side, from Greenwood Street for 12m south westerly

Greenwood Street 

  • North east side, from Ford Lane to 89m north west of Harding Street
  • South west side, from Ford Lane to 10m north west of Redwood Street

Harding Street 

  • Both sides, from Greenwood Street for 10m north easterly

Ford Lane 

  • North west side, from Broughton Road to 10m south west of Greenwood Street

Existing Orders will be amended to facilitate the above. A copy of the proposed Order together with a plan showing the proposals, a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and copies of the Orders it is proposed to amend may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
