Hankinson Way/Rossall Way

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

‘No waiting and no loading at any time’ on:

  • Hankinson Way - both sides from a point 25 metres south west from A576 roundabout to the Heywood Way/Churchill Way roundabout.
  • Rossall Way both sides for its full length. Pendleton Way both sides from a point 25 metres south west from A576 roundabout to the entrance to Pendleton Shopping City Car Park.
  • Loganberry Avenue both sides for its full length.
  • Heywood Way/Churchill Way Roundabout both sides for its full length.

20mph speed limit on:

  • Rossall Way, Hankinson Way, Pendleton Way for its full length including the service road spur, Loganberry Avenue. 

Loading bays on: 

  • Hankinson Way north west side from a point 67 metres north east from the extended north east kerbline of Loganberry Avenue in a north east direction for 34 metres with width of three metres.

One way traffic order on:

  • Rossall Way Service Road, north west direction, the parallel service road adjacent to the south west side of Rossall Way from 83 metres from the junction with Rossall Way/Hankinson Way in a north west direction for 50 metres.

Taxi stand clearway on:

  • Hankinson Way, north west side from 44 metres south west from the extended south west kerbline of Loganberry Avenue in a south west direction for 16 metres.

Taxi stand clearway/loading bay on:

  • Goods vehicle loading bay 5pm to 10am on Rossall Way service road, south side, in the parallel service road adjacent to the south west side of Rossall Way from 83 metres from the junction of Rossall Way/Hankinson Way in a north west direction for 50 metres.
  • Taxi rank from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday.
  • Rossall Way service road, south side, in the parallel service road adjacent to the south west side of Rossall Way from 83 metres from the junction of Rossall Way/Hankinson Way in a north west direction for 50 metres.

A copy of the proposed orders, together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.

The order will contain exceptions for a vehicle if used for naval, military, or air force purposes.
