Langley Road

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011. 

The title and effect of the orders are as follows: 

Proposed No Waiting at any time on:

Bevin Drive - Both sides from its junction with the western kerbline of Langley Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. 

Langley Road - West side from its junction with the northern kerbline of Bevin Drive for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction. West side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Bevin Drive for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction.

Proposed No Waiting Sundays - 8am to 6pm 

Langley Road - South west and west side from the south eastern kerbline of Agecroft Road to a point 15 metres north from the northern kerbline of Bevin Drive West side from a point 15 metres south of the southern kerbline of Bevin Drive for a distance of 112 metres in a southerly direction. 

Introduction of 20mph speed limit) Order 2018

The above order shall prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on Bevin Drive for its entire length.

Existing orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals. 

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 6 September 2018 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/653).
