Longwall Avenue/Newearth Road

No waiting at any time

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed order is to introduce no waiting at any time on:

  • Newearth Road: north east side, from its junction with the north westerly kerbline (projected) of Ladymere Drive, for a distance of 15 metres in a north westerly direction. North east side, from its junction with the south easterly kerbline (projected) of Ladymere Drive, for 15 metres in a south easterly direction.
  • Ladymere Drive: both sides, from its junction with the north east kerbline (projected) of Newearth Road, for 15 metres in a north easterly direction
  • Newearth Road (northern junction with Longwall Avenue): north east side, from its junction with the north west kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 15 metres in a north west direction.
  • Newearth Road (northern junction with Longwall Avenue): north east side, from its junction with the south east kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 15 metres in a south easterly direction.
  • Longwall Avenue (north): north side, from its junction with north east kerbline (projected) of Newearth Road, for 15 metres in a north easterly direction. South side, from its junction with north east kerbline (projected) of Newearth Road, for 21 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • Newearth Road (Southern Junction with Longwall Avenue): east side, from its junction with the northerly kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 15 metres in a northerly direction.
  • Newearth Road (Southern Junction with Longwall Avenue): east side, from its junction with the south kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, 15 metres in a southerly direction.
  • Longwall Avenue (south): Both sides, from it junction with the north east kerbline (projected) of Newearth Road, for 15 metres north easterly direction.
  • Longwall Avenue Junction with Langtree Close: north side, from its junction with the western kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 10 metres in a westerly direction. North side, from its junction with the north east kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 10 metres in an easterly direction.
  • Langtree Close: west side, from its junction kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue for 10 metres in a north direction. East side, from its junction kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue for 12 metres in a northerly direction.
  • Longwall Avenue: south side, from its junction with the easterly kerbline (projected) of Bellpit Close, for 15 metres in an easterly direction. South side, from its junction with the westerly kerbline (projected) of Bellpit Close, for 15 metres in a westerly direction.
  • Bellpit Close: west side, from its junction with the southerly kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 12 metres in a southerly direction. East side, from its junction with the southerly kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 15 metres in a southerly direction.
  • Longwall Avenue: south side, from its junction with the easterly kerbline (projected) of Habergham Close, for 15 metres in an easterly direction. South side, from its junction with the westerly kerbline (projected) of Habergham Close, for 15 metres in a westerly direction.
  • Habergham Close: West side, from its junction with the southerly kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 10 metres in a southerly direction. East side, from its junction with the southerly kerbline (projected) of Longwall Avenue, for 8 metres in a southerly direction.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. 

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
