Lower Seedley Road

School Keep Clear and Prohibition of waiting order 2016

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce:

  1. No Waiting at Any Time on:

Lower Seedley Road

  • South side, from a point 30.7 metres west of its junction with Fitzwarren Street for a distance of 75 metres in a westerly direction.
  • South side, from a point 150 metres west of its junction with Fitzwarren Street for a distance of 8 metres in a westerly direction.
  • South side, from a point 13.5 metres west of its junction with Coomassie Street for a distance of 28.7 metres in a westerly direction.
  • North side, from a point 101.4 metres west of its junction with Fitzwarren Street for a distance of 26.5 metres in a westerly direction.
  • North side, from a point 42 metres west of its junction with Tenbury Close for a distance of 52.5 metres in a south westerly direction.

Coomassie Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with Lower Seedley Road for a distance of 12 metres in a northerly direction.

Tenbury Close

  • Both sides, from its junction with Lower Seedley Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
  1. School Keep Clear (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm)

Lower Seedley Road

  • South side, from a point 106 metres west of its junction with Fitzwarren Street for a distance of 43.4 metres in a westerly direction.
  • South side, from a point 158 metres west of its junction with Fitzwarren Street for a distance of 31.4 metres

Langworthy Road

  • East side, from a point 29.5 metres south of its junction with Lower Seedley Road for a distance of 44.5 metres in a southerly direction.

Duchy Street

  • West side, from a point 10.5 metres south of its junction with Alpha Street, for a distance of 17.5 metres in a northerly direction.

Alpha Street

  • North side, from its junction with Duchy Street for a distance of 9.2 metres in an easterly direction.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
