Mather Road Area, Eccles

City of Salford (Mather Road Area, Eccles) (Prohibition Of Waiting And Amendment) Order 2018

The effect of the order will be to:

1. a) Revoke the length of Restricted Waiting (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm) on the west side of Mather Road in order to increase on street parking.
2. b) Prohibitions of Waiting will be introduced at the following junctions to improve safety and visibility:

Mather Road

• East side, from a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Chadwick Road to a point 10 metres south of the southern kerbline of Chadwick Road
• West side, from a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Chadwick Road to a point 10 metres south of the southern kerbline of Chadwick Road.
• East side, from a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Plum Tree Close to a point 5 metres south of the southern kerbline of Plum Tree Close.

Plum Tree Close

• North side, from its junction with the eastern kerbline of Mather Road for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction
• South side, from its junction with the eastern kerbline of Mather Road for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.

Chadwick Road

• North side, from a point 5 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Mather Road to a point 5 metres west of the western kerbline of Mather Road
• South side, from a point 5 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Mather Road to a point 5 metres west of the western kerbline of Mather Road.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
