Mayan Avenue/North George Street

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

No waiting at any time on:

  • North George Street - west side, from a point 107.3m south of the extended southern kerbline of Peru Street to its junction with Cleminson Street
  • Mayan Ave - south side, from the west gable end of 21 Mayan Avenue for a distance of 36m in a westerly, then northerly direction. North and west side, from a point 31m south of the southern projected kerbline of Dun Close for a distance of 80m in a southerly, then westerly direction.

Limited waiting parking places with width 2m. Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Waiting limited to two hours. No return within three hours.

  • North George Street - west side, from a point 18m south of the southern extended kerbline of Peru Street for a distance of 26.5m in a southerly direction. West side, from a point 77.3m south of the southern extended kerbline of Peru Street for a distance of 30m in a southerly direction. 

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Fridays.
