Moss Side Road area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

City of Salford (Allotment Road, Kenmore Grove, Poplar Grove, Moss Side Road and Prospect Road, Cadishead and Lower Irlam) (Prohibition of Waiting, No Stopping on School Entrance Markings and Amendment) Order 2022 

The effect of the order will be to introduce: 

No stopping on school entrance markings, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm on:

Allotment Road (Cadishead Primary School)

• north east side, from a point 10 metres north east from the north eastern extended kerbline of Moss Side Road for a distance of 101.1 metres in a north westerly direction

Moss Side Road (Cadishead Primary School)

• north west side, from a point 10 metres north east from the north eastern extended kerbline of Allotment Road for a distance of 63 metres in a north easterly direction

No waiting at any time on:

Poplar Grove

• both sides, from Moss Side Road for 10 metres north westerly

Kenmore Grove

• both sides, from Moss Side Road for 10 metres north westerly direction

Moss Side Road

• north west side, from 10 metres south west from Poplar Grove to 10 metres north east of Poplar Grove
• north west side, from 10 metres south west of Kenmore Grove to 10 metres north east of Kenmore Grove
• north west side, from 9.1 metres south west from Allotment Road to 10 metres north east of Allotment Road
• south east side, from 5 metres south west of Prospect Road to 6 metres north east of Prospect Road

Allotment Road

• north east side, from Moss Side Road for 10 metres north westerly direction
• south west side, from Moss Side Road for 12 metres north westerly

Prospect Road

• south west side, from Moss Side Road for 5 metres south easterly

An existing order will be amended to be consistent with the proposals.

A copy of the proposed Order together with the plan showing the proposal, a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and a copy of the order it is proposed to amend may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
