Northfleet Road and Trippier Road area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Northfleet Road and Trippier Road area, Higher Irlam and Peel Green) (Prohibition of Waiting, Restriction of Waiting, School Keep Clear and Amendment) Order 2025 

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time on:

• Trippier Road, both sides, from Buckthorn Lane for 10m north easterly 
• Trippier Road, north west side, from 41.7m north east of  Buckthorn Lane for 35.2m in a north easterly direction 
• Northfleet Road Service Road off To Salford Academy / adjoining numbers 30 to 36 Northfleet Road, both sides, from Northfleet Road for the full length (excluding north east cul-de-sac end) 
• Northfleet Road, north west side, from 15m south west of Foxhill Road to 15m north east of Foxhill Road 
• Foxhill Road, both sides, from Northfleet Road for 15m north westerly 
• Northfleet Road / Trippier Road, south east side, from 15m north east of Northfleet Road to 15m south west of Northfleet Road 
• Northfleet Road, both sides, from Trippier Road for 15m south easterly 
• Trippier Road, south east side, from 15m north east of Rochford Road to 13m south west of Rochford Road 
• Rochford Road, both sides, from Trippier Road for 15m south easterly.

No Waiting, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm on:

• Trippier Road, south east side, from 10m north east of Buckthorn Lane to 13m south west of Rochford Road
• Trippier Road, south east side, from 15m north east of Rochford Road to 15m south west of Northfleet Road 
• Northfleet Road, south east side, from 15m north east of Northfleet Road to Brookhouse Avenue 
• Northfleet Road, north west side, from 15m south west of Foxhill Road for 48m south westerly 
• Northfleet Road, north west side, from 80m south west of Foxhill Road for 35m south westerly 
• Northfleet Road, north west side, from 15m north east of Foxhill Road to Brookhouse Avenue.

No Stopping on School Entrance Markings – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm on: 

• Trippier Road, north west side, from 10m north east of Buckthorn Lane for 31.7m north easterly (Barton Moss Community Primary School) 
• Northfleet Road /Trippier Road, north west side, from 76.9m north east of Buckthorn Lane for 44m north easterly (Barton Moss Community Primary School) 
• Northfleet Road, north west side, from 184m north east of Buckthorn Lane for 25.2m north easterly direction (Salford City Academy).

An existing Order will be amended to facilitate the above. A copy of the proposed Order together with a plan showing the proposals, a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and a copy of the Order it is proposed to amend may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
