Partington Lane and adjoining streets

Notice is hereby given that The council of the City of Salford proposes to make the City of Salford (Partington Lane and adjoining streets, Swinton) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Loading Restriction and Revocation) Order 2018 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of proposed order will be as follows:

No waiting at any time:

Fernlea Crescent:

(i) North side, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Partington Lane, for a distance of 8 metres in a westerly direction

(ii) South side, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Partington Lane, for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction.

Argyle Street

Both Sides, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Partington Lane, for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

Westbrook Road

Both sides, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Partington Lane, for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

Partington Lane

(i) West side, from its junction with northerly kerbline of Fernlea Crescent, for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction

(ii) West side, from its junction with southerly kerbline of Fernlea Crescent, for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction

(iii) West side, from its junction with northerly kerbline of Argyle Street, for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction

(iv) West side, from its junction with southerly kerbline of Argyle Street, for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction

(v) West side, from its junction with northerly kerbline of Westbrook Road, for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction

(vi) West side, from its junction with southerly kerbline of Westbrook Road, for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

No waiting – Monday – Saturday 8am to 8pm and No Loading – Monday to Saturday 8am to 9.30am and 4.30pm to 6pm:

Partington Lane

(i) West side, extending from its junction with Deans Road in a southerly direction to a point 10 metres north of the northern kerbline of Fernlea Crescent

(ii) West side, extending from a point 10 metres south of the southern kerbline of Fernlea Crescent in a southerly direction to a point 10 metres north of the northern kerbline of Argyle Street

(iii) East side, extending from its junction with Stanwell Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 142 metres.

No waiting at any time and No Loading – Monday to Saturday 8am to 9.30am and 4.30pm to 6pm:

Deans Road

South side, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Partington Lane, for a distance of 18.3 metres in a westerly direction.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
