City of Salford (Patricroft Area, Eccles, Salford) (Introduction of 20 mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2017

Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011. The order shall be to prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise stated;

Adelaide Street, Armitage Street, Ashbourne Road, Austen Road, Barlow Street, Bradburn Street, Cannon Street, Charlton Avenue, Cecil Road, Dickens Road, Dorning Street, Eliot Road, Ellesmere Street, Elm Street, Fairless Road, Fintry Grove, Fir Street, Gaskell Road, Gleaves Road, Hamilcar Avenue, Hamilton Avenue, Irlam Avenue, Ivy Street, Keats Road, Lewis Street, Lime Street, Mellor Street, Oak Street, Parr Street, Peter Street, Philip Street, Pleasant Road, Renshaw Avenue, Renshaw Street, Roberts Street, Street, John Street, Station Road and Trafford Road.

The order will contain exceptions for a vehicle if used for naval, military, or air force purposes.

A copy of the proposed order, together with plans of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
