St Simon Street and Damask Avenue

Salford City Council proposes to make the city of Salford (St Simon Street and Damask Avenue) (Restriction of Waiting) Order 2022 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provision:

No waiting Monday to Friday between 11am and 12pm on:

Damask Avenue

  • Both sides for its entire length

St Simon Street

  • North east side, from 139m east of the west extended kerbline of Blackfriars Road in an easterly southerly direction for 191.6m
  • Central reservation, from a point opposite the boundary between property numbers 75 and 77 in a south westerly, northerly, easterly and then south westerly direction to a point opposite the boundary between property numbers 71 and 69.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above order may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
