St Simon Street and Damask Avenue

Salford City Council proposed to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

Salford City Council (St Simon Street and Damask Avenue) (Restriction of Waiting) Order 2025

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce the following provisions:

Restriction of Waiting 11am to 12 Noon, Monday to Friday: 

Damask Avenue

  • Both sides, from Cannon Street, for its entire length including the cul-de-sac end.

St Simon Street 

  • North, north east and east side, from 49m east of the easterly projected kerbline of the access road leading to Black Friar Court, for 98.7m in an easterly then southerly direction.

St Simon Street Central Reservation

  • From 1.5m south-west of the projected boundary between property numbers 75 and 77 St Simon Street in a south westerly, northerly, easterly and then south westerly direction to a point opposite the projected boundary between property numbers 69 and number 71 St Simon Street.

A copy of the Order, a plan and the statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Order will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
