Weaste Lane

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to prohibit vehicles from parking at any time on:

Weaste Lane

  • North east side, from a point 12.5 metres North West of its junction with the northerly projected kerbline of Edward Avenue for a distance of 27.8 metres in a north westerly direction.
  • South west side, from its junction with the northerly projected kerbline of Edward Avenue for a distance of 53.4 metres in a north westerly direction.
  • South west side, from its junction with the southerly projected kerbline of Hebden Avenue for a distance of 90.8 metres in a southerly direction.
  • North east side, from its junction with the northerly projected kerbline of Garner Drive for a distance of 10m in a northerly direction.
  • South west side, from its junction with the northerly projected kerbline of Hebden Avenue for a distance of 10m in a north westerly direction.

Hebden Avenue

  • North west side, from its junction with the south westerly projected kerbline of Weaste Lane to its junction with the north easterly kerbline of Harvard Grove.
  • South east side, from its junction with the south westerly projected kerbline of Weaste Lane for a distance of 33 metres in a south westerly direction.

The order will also revoke the following waiting restrictions:

Weaste Lane

  • West side, from the northerly kerbline of Edward Avenue in a northerly direction for a distance of 15 metres. No Waiting Friday 6pm to 9pm, Sunday 1pm to 4pm, Saturday and Bank Holidays 1pm to 9pm
  • West side, from a point 15 metres north west of the northerly kerbline of Edward Avenue to a point 15 metres south east of the southern kerbline of Princeton Close.

Edward Avenue

  • North side, from a point opposite the eastern kerbline of Hathersage Avenue in a westerly direction to a point opposite the eastern kerbline of Wortley Avenue.

Prohibition of stopping outside school entrance

  • Weaste Lane, west side, from a point 53.4 metres north west of its junction with the northerly projected kerbline of Edward Avenue for a distance of 51 metres in a north westerly direction, outside St Luke’s Church of England Primary School entrance. 

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 23 July 2018 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/622).
